The first show that brings together the three main game console manufacturers, Paris Games Week, takes place until November 6 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center. “Very happy” to return to the event after three years of absence linked to the pandemic, Ina Gelbert, director of Xbox France, was the guest of the Tech&Co show.
Provision of new generation consoles, discovery of the latest and upcoming video games, at the Xbox booth, visitors will inevitably find what they are looking for. The company also does education around its Xbox Game Pass offering, which gives you access to a catalog of games for a monthly subscription.

Already existing in other industries, this model had never been used in the video game industry. “There was a place to drink,” says Ina Gelbert. Launched in 2017, Xbox Game Pass now offers more than a hundred titles, including those from internal studios at Microsoft, the maker of Xbox.
With this strategy, the company wants to “make the ecosystem accessible to as many people as possible”, explains the director of Xbox France. And to clarify: “We are focusing our efforts on making the ecosystem available in more media: on consoles, on PCs, on mobile phones, on televisions.”
Thanks to its “very rich catalogue”, Xbox is pleased to be able to highlight French productions. This is the case of the title. death loopdeveloped by Arkane Studios (owned by Microsoft), but also the latest Asobo creations, including A Plague Tale: Requiem. “The more French games there are on Game Pass, the prouder I am”, concludes Ina Gelbert.
