“Free and without restrictions”: what is Daze, the new messaging that captivates the new generation on Tiktok?

The Daze messaging demos, which offer numerous customization features, have more than 48 million views on TikTok. The waiting list for the launch of the application exceeds 150,000 users.

Daze, a new messaging application aimed at the new generation, has not yet been launched and is already making waves. As proof, as Techcrunch reports, one of the Tiktok videos on Daze has more than 8 million views. The company profile is close to 50 million visits.

However, this is not paid advertising presented by the Tiktok algorithm. Not a video of an influencer extolling the merits of this new social network. But simply a demonstration of the application’s functionalities.

A free application without restrictions.

In the video we can see a user writing “hello”. The message is then displayed in different fonts and movements. It is also possible to draw, add images, text or even gifs. Everything, directly in the chat.

The application, founded by American businessman Willem Simons, is presented as a messaging service inspired by WhatsApp.

“It is a utilitarian and easy-to-use application, but also very free and without restrictions,” he adds. Messaging thus offers infinite creative possibilities. Here, users are no longer limited to blue and green bubbles. They can send multicolored messages, create graphics with their fingertips, and decorate the background, even using artificial intelligence (AI).

A quite impressive and very interactive visual application, therefore, which has attracted many users, especially among the new generation. “Install this so we can talk to each other,” says a user in the comments section of one of Daze’s videos. “This is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen,” adds another.

The waiting list to register for the application, open on October 15, exceeds 156,000 registrations. Daze is scheduled to launch on November 4. And success already promises to be there.

According to the results of the testing phase, more than 50% of users remained on the messaging service after 60 days. As expected, most of the testers were between 13 and 22 years old.
