A newspaper “made with a different intelligence”. This Tuesday, March 18, the Italian media Il Foglio published their first edition generated by AI. Foglio AI called it, is presented as “the first daily newspaper in the world (…) created completely thanks to artificial intelligence.”
Whether for titles, legends or appointments, no human journalist has contributed to this edition. “We, journalists, we will just ask questions and read all the answers in Foglio ai,” they say in an article.
The edition in question consists of four pages, including an article about “all Donald Trump Balivens last month.”
An experience
The publication of this edition is published as part of a single -month journalistic experience to see the impact of AI on how to work on the media. The newspaper will publish, from Tuesday to Thursday, an edition generated by AI that includes four pages and approximately 22 articles and three publishers.
“At the end of this experience (…) we will tell you what questions we were forced to ask us, not only a journalistic order, see a newspaper completely produced with AI day,” he adds.
This experience occurs since the launch of Chatgpt, the media wonders how AI should be implemented. Some use it in particular for the audio reading of articles, the creation of new content or to replace certain works.
