I even have two connected watches, one on each arm,” Michel Polneff laughs at the Tech & Co microphone, The Daily, during an exclusive interview.
But it is not a current fashion. He has always been a technology enthusiast. He was the first artist to launch a website in France in 1996 after having had his own 3615 in Minitel. In Goodbye MarylouHe also talks about meetings “writing on my keyboard”.
At the age of 80, Polnareff wants to continue taking the train of modernity in motion. “I told my manager that we couldn’t stay like this with such a zero and old polnaweb site, that we had to use today’s technologies to modernize it,” said the artist.

When I am in my studio, I am like a craftsman. I know where it comes from and where it goes,” he agrees, recognizing having tried AI by words or music without being convinced. Technology and modernity, is a great yes. But he will still not shade his creativity.
