World leader in robotics?
As expected, the images of the event quickly became viral after circulating on Chinese social networks. The opportunity for the country to remember its progress in robotics.
In fact, he wants to become a world leader in the field of humanoid robots by 2027 and is in direct competition with the United States. The Chinese humanoid robotics market could reach the equivalent of 10 billion euros in 2029, according to the published report The opportunity of the Chinese conference on the humanoid robotics of April 2024.
This is not the first time that China has caused the sensation to have robotics integrated into real events. Last June, Beijing welcomed the first totally independent robotic football match, where six humanoid robots piloted by AI met in a 3 -way match against 3, without human control.
Last April, humanoid robots also participated in a half marathon. But machines still have progress to face humans. Of the 21 machines that participate in the half marathon, only four finished the race (21 kilometers) in four hours. In August, the Asian country will organize its global humanoid robots.
