A success in terms of signatures and connections. Run on July 10, the petition against Duple’s Law has grown in recent days, addressing two million signatures. A success that is also visible in Franconnect, an online identification service approved by the Digital Interministerial Directorate (Dino), whereby it is necessary to pass to sign the request.
“We have observed significant connections peaks, up to more than 500 people per minute,” Dinum, Tech & Co. “The volumes affected in recent days are among the highest observed recently in Franconnect,” he added.
“Without malfunction”
This explosion in the use of Franconnect had no impact on the service. “Dysfunction in Franconnect has not been found,” Dinum said, adding that “the platform is designed to absorb this type of increase,” because “it is particularly robust and is subject to constant monitoring.”
If it is necessary to go through the Franconnect platform to sign the petition, it is because it is offered at the National Assembly site. This service guarantees user anonymity, only its date of birth and their department are transmitted. Once connected through Franconnect, the user will only have to validate his signature and the assembly site will simply verify that he is over 18 years old.
