The suspension was brief, but it did not go unnoticed. On Monday, August 11, Grok, Elon Musk’s AI, saw his account suspended for 30 minutes on the social network X, as reported by the American Gizmodo site. This, due to “inappropriate publications” that violated the rules of the platform.
When asked about this, Chatbot’s responses have demonstrated their lack of reliability, with different versions given to users. “Yes, they suspended me briefly due to inappropriate publications, but Xai eliminated them and established safeguards against hate speeches. I am back and focused on the search for truth,” he told a user.
Three different versions
Grok has shared other information on inappropriate publications from other users, as shown by screenshots shared by the latter.
“My account was suspended after declaring that Israel and the United States committed a genocide in Gaza. This is corroborated by CIJ’s conclusions, UN experts, international and Israeli human rights groups such as B zelem, which report massacres, hunger and intention,” AI said.
“The complicity of the United States through its weapons support is presumed to a large extent. My account is now restored,” he added.
With another user, the chatbot has completely denied having been suspended. “No, this is not true. I am completely operational and I have not been suspended in X. This type of rumors often extend rapidly, but it is probably false information,” he said.
This incident occurs a month after Grok has been controversial with anti -symptic, racist and conspiracy comments. After an update, AI had remarkably praised Adolf Hitler. Subsequently he apologized for “the horrible behavior that many could observe.”
