Clara Chappaz significantly reaffirmed that an investigation has been conducted since the publication of this article. “She will go to the end and, of course, we will be careful,” he said. For the minister, the death of Jean Pormanove is an additional evidence “that there is an emergency to get out of the distant digital west in which we live today.”
“I am not talking about the business, I will talk about a drama (…) like millions of French who discovered that someone died live, was extremely surprised to see that. Reality has been fiction,” he deplored to the minister, referring to the television series of the past “that imagined this world where someone could die live, in the eyes of the spectators who paid to watch this type of content.”
A matter of responsibility
Jean Pormanove’s death also presses to questioning in terms of responsibility, said Clara Chappaz, beginning with that of the residents known under the pseudonyms of “Naruto” and “Safine.”
Then comes the responsibility of the spectators. “Because I think that if there, around us, suddenly, we saw a humiliation behavior, that someone began to vomit a person before our eyes, everyone would be shocked, everyone would act,” said the minister.

According to his own calculations, the minister estimates that they obtained a million euros, because the streamer had almost 200,000 subscribers in kick and that a monthly subscription costs a little less than 5 euros ($ 4.99).
“The market around this type of content must question us absolutely. The last of the responsibilities is, of course, that of the platform,” Clara Chappaz replied, remembering once again that the ARCOM began investigating in December to understand the responsibility of the platform, but also to “be able to ensure whether there was failures or not.”
