The violent “reality shows” are popular

However, it is an obligation according to the regulations on digital services, the DSA, which voluntarily kicks, did not respect, before finally supporting a representative in Europe in recent days. For the Government, this is a “violation”, so a complaint was filed against Kick, while the Paris prosecutor’s office announced the opening of an investigation to disseminate illicit content.

Beyond the moderation problems by the kick, it is the tendency of the “reality show” on the web that poses questions and that interests more and more young internet users, essentially men.

Nasdas, Jean Pormanove … In France, there are few who participate in this exercise, but only they drain several thousands of Internet users. Live, they can launch challenges, distribute money, everything, driven by an audience that seems disconnected from realities.

“We are still at an escalation of the show for a long time, we have reached a climax. But let’s not forget that it was always the case. Previously, there were circus games, Roman sands also in violence and humiliation,” explains Vanessa Lalo, a psychologist in digital practices.

With these television realities of a morbid genre, the one who looks is no longer only a spectator, becomes one of the main actors, explains this specialist: “We really become an actor in the system where we not only look, but also pay to act.
