Simplify the launch and management of games. This is the goal of Microsoft, which announced on September 15 a series of Xbox updates for PC and Windows consoles. Thanks to these new features, the company intends to improve the user game experience, particularly by joining them in the same place.
Changes that Microsoft has configured following the returns of the members of the Xbox Insiders program (which allows early access to the new software features and send comments on updates, functions, development games) and the Xbox community, the company emphasized a press release.
Offer faster access
To simplify the game experience, Microsoft will begin by grouping all games installed in several compatible PC stores (Xbox Game Pass, Battle.net, Steam …) in the “My Games” tab of your library. Whether on their laptop or in their console, players can access their games more easily.
They will also have the possibility of slightly controlling the content shown there from the parameters, canceling the stores that do not want to see. Therefore, the games associated with one of them will no longer appear.
Always from the “My Games” tab, players can take care of a game that began on the console to continue on PC and vice versa, because their history will follow them on all their devices. But it will only work for cloud compatible titles.
Finally, a new tab called “My applyions” will appear, allowing players to search, download and launch their games for various sources, but without juggling between different applications or stores.
