For photos of the photos, but not only. This Wednesday, September 24, Xiaomi lifted the veil in its last smartphones of entry … High -End, The 15T and 15T Pro, in Munich, Germany. For these new models, the manufacturer not only emphasizes the photo, which is generally one of the strengths of this smartphone subfamily. The Chinese giant also intends to offer a concentrate of technologies to connect and a notable screen to attract consumers.
The photo, always an active badge
Like the previous generations, the flagship asset of these smartphones is the photo, especially for the 15T Pro. And the technical partition always develops in close collaboration with Leica. We also find the same configuration as in its predecessor, with a difference. On the back, there is still three camera modules, with a high -angle lens of 50 MPX, an ultra large angle of 12 MPX and a 50 MP teleobjective that, for the first time, benefits from the Leica 5x Pro Zoom 5x Pro. In the front, there is a 32 MP sensor.
We had the opportunity to try early at 15T Pro, what does it give? Together, all these sensors offer quality shots. The details are precise and the bright colors (even more with the vibrant leic mode). Similarly for photos with super macro portraits and modes.
Regarding the Leica 5x Pro lens, Xiaomi promises to offer an impressive 5x optical zoom and the result is there, both in terms of details and brightness and colors.
We are not a priori disappointed by the 10X optical zoom, which can even rise 20 times without losing quality.
If it is possible to climb 100 times, as in Google Pixel 10, it is better to avoid it because not only the quality is bad, but it is as difficult to use as in Google smartphones in terms of stability.
A large screen ideal for entertainment but …
On the design side, Xiaomi intends to combine elegance, resistance and comfort. On the back, there are unified glass fiberglass, with a 6m13 aluminum alloy frame in 15T Pro to protect against falls, as in its predecessor. The AMOLED screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Class 7i, to resist scratches more than the 14T Pro.
The screen wins in size, from 6.67 to 6.83 inches. It is the largest of an T series model. This size is ideal for entertainment, with the edges that have been refined (27%) and games, as well as many videos. It also benefits from a cooling rate of up to 144 Hz for a fluid experience. To this is added a maximum shine of 3,200 nits to guarantee a legible screen even to direct sunlight.
The screen is even more pleasant to use, since the selected processor is a Dimnsity 9400+ of Mediatek, the latest generation of the Taiwanese giant chip, which offers good performance, and not the shadow of a deceleration in sight. We could play Asphalt 9which is quite greedy in resources, taking advantage of Meilllers graphic parameters (high visual quality, cooling speed of 120 Hz …) for 40 minutes. All with a slight warming, which is not disturbing at all. Because like its predecessor, the 15T Pro has the ICELOP 3D 3D 3D thermal system that distributes heat evenly throughout the smartphone surface.
Similarly, the processor allows you to make multitasking without problems, the 15T Pro always offers a fluid experience with many open applications (games, google, camera, social networks …) and a slight warming.
But if the 15T Pro screen is ideal for entertainment, this is not the case in terms of comfort if you have small hands. Because besides being large, the smartphone is also wide (16.27 x 7.79 x 0.796 cm), more than the iPhone 17 pro max elsewhere. Therefore, it is difficult to move along the screen with one hand and impossible to write a message, because certain letters on the keyboard are unattainable.
A quite similar little brother
The Xiaomi 15T should not be overcome, being similar to its older brother at certain points. It has the same photographic sensors, except the Leica 5x Pro. Driven by a Medatek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chip, its screen is equally large, but limited to a maximum cooling speed of 120 Hz. Screen that is also protected by Corrilla Glass 7I and only by the unified glass fiberglass.
Autonomy level, the two smartphones are equipped with a 5,500 mAh battery, but the 15T is compatible with a quick wiring load of 67 W, against 90 W for the 15T Pro, which also benefits from a 50 W wireless fast charge.
The two smartphones also have a concentrate of technologies for connectivity, with the astral communication of “The Suite of Advanced Technologies” that includes the out -of -line communication of Xiaomi. It allows direct vocal communication between 15T (up to 1.3 km) and 15T Pro (up to 1.9 km) even without a cellular or wifi signal, which can be useful in isolated hiking, deserts and other areas without network.
Price and availability
Available in black, gray and pink gold, Xiaomi 15 T is marketed at a price of 649 euros.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro is available in three colors: black, gray and golden moca. It will be sold to 799 euros for the model equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
