Amazon makes the “show” with its new echo, its speakers and smart connected screens

Amazon maintains the pressure in 2025 in the connected screens market. It should be said that the competition will undoubtedly be hard in the coming months, since Apple could join Amazon and Google in this sector, according to many rumors.

During an event that took place this Tuesday, September 30, 2025 in New York, the company raised the veil in several new Echo devices, including the new versions of the Echo Show 8 and 11, which have a completely new design and a “modern” appearance.

A new sound and visual experience for Echo Show

To make the experience pleasant (in the kitchen, for example), Amazon has worked the visual appearance, with a touch screen with liquid crystal in the cell, which allows in particular to reduce the lamination layers and, therefore, to give the impression that the touch layer is as close as possible to the screen. This also significantly improves vision angles. The screens show two diagonals: 8 and 11 inches, but the two versions have a camera module, equipped with a 13 MP sensor for video calls.

In addition, they have new speakers oriented forward and a boomer custom made for the bass, which offers space sound, promises Amazon. Everything can be placed in an adjustable support (sold separately) and exclusive to these two models. Inside, an Az3 Pro chip that allows it to benefit from the functions that operate the environment to adapt to the needs.

The launch of the Echo Show 8 and 11 is scheduled for November 12 for 199.99 euros and 239.99 euros respectively.

Speakers to create a home cinema

Amazon has also presented new connected speakers, including the Echo Dot Max with three times lower than the basic model (5th generation) and with two speakers, completely integrated into the design “Duplicating the air space for the deepest bass,” the company wrote in its press release.

The price reaches 109.99 euros and will be launched on October 29, just like Echo Studio, another novelty.

Designed for those who wish to build a home at home, you can connect with four other devices, including Fire Stick, to synchronize. It admits audio sound -Spacial and Dolby Atmos, which is not offered with the new Fire Stick 4K selection. Depending on its installation, Alexa will be in charge of adapting the sound.

However, it will be necessary to spend a lot, since each unit of Echo Studio will sell 239.99 euros.
