A robot vacuum cleaner that also washes the floor is nothing new. However, the iRobot Roomba Combo J7 is a clearly different device from its rivals as it manages to pull off an engineering trick and leave half the world speechless.
But first, some context: With the exception of the new iRobot, all models have the mop at the bottom of the device.
The problem is the carpets and carpets. Whoever has one of these robots runs the risk of coming home and realizing that the device passed the wet mop over the carpet and since the mop was dirty, it even made the carpet dirty.
However, there are other robot vacuums/mops that try to avoid this scenario by raising the mop a few millimeters. The problem is if the carpet is high. There the problem repeats itself.
Well, it was to avoid all of that that iRobot developed the Combo J7. In this one, the mop is on a platform that rests on top of the robot and only after vacuuming the rugs, rugs and rugs does the team pull off such an engineering trick.
Using mechanical arms, the platform with the mop is brought to the bottom of the robot and thus begins to mop the floor.
After all, the iRobot Combo J7 is a nifty device, but it’s not without its flaws.
