Would it be more difficult today to be a Youtube star than a successful actor or singer? The youtuber Mastu revealed in his last video the most negative sides of his day to day.
Subscribers inviting each other to his garden, death threats and videos diverted from their context: through video archives and testimonies, Mastu thus shows the harassment he has suffered for several months.
“They go over the door to leave words”
During the sequence, Mastu returns to the behavior of some of his fans, who no longer hesitate to interfere in his privacy. It all starts in particular because of the proximity of his house to a school, where the students would have seen him drive past the establishment several times.
Therefore, some university students have chosen to follow the youtuber home, thus discovering his address and being able to share it with as many people as possible. Mastu then reveals various clips from videos recorded at his house, with the doorbell ringing incessantly and teenagers yelling his name.
The YouTuber states that he and his partner are “forced to live with the blinds closed to have a minimum of privacy.” But that no longer prevents fans from coming, nor do the “haters” of the youtuber. Mastu explains that in the middle of the night, a person parked in front of his house, shouting “Mastu, you are a dead man.”
TikTok heavily criticized
The youtubeur also returned to the many TikTok videos that he picks up and comments each time on the various controversies that concern him. “It hurts me, people give their opinion on everything and anything,” Mastu said. He thus returned to several TikTok videos that accused him of being too virulent with certain fans who demanded photos of him.
Mastu has also criticized that TikTok accounts take their complete videos (cut into about thirty parts) in order to generate money.
In addition to the weight of social networks and subscribers shamelessly stalking him on the street, Mastu also saw his phone number leaked because of… a COVID test. The nurse who had retrieved his contact details during the test broke medical secrecy and revealed the information. A new source of spam calls and SMS for the youtuber.
To take a step back from this situation, Mastu decided to take a break from Youtube. “I start my break now, the next time we meet again will be in 2023. I do not give a date. I want to take the time to recharge my batteries as best as possible,” said the youtuber.
