Tech Hebdo #08: Back in Apple Ads

This Monday, Tech Hebdo returns to the studio with Jérôme Colombain and François Sorel for a summary of the technological news that marked the week.

On the show, our journalist Mélinda Davan-Soulas joins us to give us an overview of Apple Keynote. Also find our Tech care section, with this week, Dominique Chabot, president of O’Code, the application that protects your objects. Benoît Grunemwald, our guest, tells you about doxing, a hacking technique that threatens your personal data.

  • Melinda Davan-Soulas, a journalist from Tech&Co, has just returned from Cupertino where she followed the latest Apple keynote. In the program, iPhone 14, 14 Pro or the Airpods presented during the conference. She also returns to the small novelty of this keynote, an Apple Watch dedicated to athletes.
  • Don’t be afraid that your mobile, bike or other objects will be stolen thanks to O’Code. This application, presented by its president Dominique Chabot, aims to secure your everyday objects using a key in the form of a QR code. Your items are then recorded, protecting them from loss and/or theft.
  • Fraudulent emails, deceptive SMS or other phishing techniques. Doxing is increasingly present and threatens your personal data on a daily basis. Benoit Grunemwald, cybersecurity expert at ESET France, explains how to avoid and protect yourself from this type of practice.
