Some will soon have to extend the bill. If you subscribe to Playstation Plus and that you own a playstation5you will lose one of your benefits: the PlayStation Plus Collection.
To accompany the launch of its new console, Sony had offered its home subscription holders twenty flagship PS4 games (Uncharted 4, The Last of Us, Detroit: Become Human, God of War, Ratchet & Clank, Battlefield 1…).

As of May 9, the PlayStation Plus Collection is gone, but not the subscription games. To take advantage of it, you will simply have to… contract a more expensive subscription. Because all of them appear in the catalog of the Playstation Plus Extra level, offered at 13.99 euros per month compared to 8.99 euros per month for the Essential level, which until then was sufficient.
This offer, which was supposed to kickstart the launch of the PS5, not only made people happy, but PlayStation 4 owners didn’t have access to it. With the arrival of the new packages last June, they even had to pay more to take advantage of them. Sony had also, more or less willfully, omitted to indicate the presence of the Collection games in the basic PlayStation Plus offering. A pretty obvious sign of things to come.
How to enjoy the games before it’s too late?
However, it is still possible to enjoy the best PS4 titles that were offered in the Collection. To do this, remember to add them to your game library before the deadline. You don’t need to download them.
- go to menu Playstation Plus for ps5
- Click on PlayStation Plus Collection
- Add the games to your library. They will remain available as long as you subscribe to PlayStation Plus, even just the Essential offer.
