Specifically, about 4.79 million visitors observed, on the site and its application, the trajectory of the Royal Air Force Globemaster C-17 in charge of transporting the remains of the Queen. At the same time, 296,000 people also watched it on YouTube. Heavy traffic causing many technical outages on the Flighradar24 site.
In total, about 76.2 million requests were registered on the site during these 70 minutes of flight. Many people have clicked on the flight icon, on the aircraft information or adjusted the parameters, for example. According to Flightradar24, approximately 600,000 users were able to successfully track the flight, before performance degraded. In response, the developers chose to redirect tracking of this theft to YouTube.
“The most followed flight of all time”
The previous record was set on August 2. Followed by 2.2 million people, US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan aroused great interest. For good reason, she was the highest-ranking US official to visit this territory, considered by China to be a Chinese province, for 25 years.
