An impressive bright appearance. A shooting star lit up the French sky tonight shortly after 4 am The fault has a small meteor a meter wide, explained at the beginning of the night the European Space Agency (ESA).
Detected by ESA before impact
This small object, detected by the agency, had to enter the Earth’s atmosphere and decompose, as regularly happens throughout the world.
Called “Sar2667”, the meteor was seen in the skies of Paris, Rouen but also in the south of England, many netizens and several BFMTV witnesses said on Twitter.
“This is only the seventh time an impact has been predicted before it actually happens,” explains the European Space Agency. “A sign of rapid progress in global asteroid detection capabilities!”
