Microsoft announces deal with Nvidia to bring Xbox games to GeForce Now

From Brussels, the president of Microsoft announced new proposals to try to eliminate the last regulatory barriers on Activision Blizzard’s takeover bid.

Microsoft has announced a new deal, this time with Nvidia, to bring Xbox PC gaming to GeForce Now, Nvidia’s cloud gaming platform. This is a further step in trying to appease regulators in the context of Microsoft’s takeover of Activision Blizzard, which worries competition police, including in Europe.

This agreement with Nvidia will also integrate the franchise obligations, if the takeover is finally registered. This Tuesday morning, Microsoft announced the arrival of Activision’s star video game on Nintendo Switch, again if the acquisition is finalized.

On the other hand, Microsoft is still bumping into rival Sony which has no intention of signing any deal just yet.
