One more year, the teams have the opportunity to test their single-seaters in real conditions, before resuming Formula 1 competition on the different circuits around the world. Thus, the engineers can make all the modifications desired by the pilots, in an attempt to achieve the objectives. In fact, the vehicles are equipped with sensors and the data collected is studied after each session.
However, the change of parts and the use of certain components are subject to authorization. The FIA judges determine if the submitted modifications comply with the regulations. Otherwise, the manufacturers must remove the elements, at the risk of not being able to participate in future races. In addition, the drivers of each team must share a single car, since it is forbidden to drive two vehicles at the same time. On the competitor side, the 2023 Formula 1 season is marked by the arrival of four drivers, from Haas, Williams, McLaren and Alpha Tauri.
