The vise is tightening around TikTok. Many Western countries accuse the Chinese social network of posing a threat to data protection and cybersecurity.

For several months now, TikTok has been in the crosshairs of many Western countries that accuse it of representing an unacceptable risk to the privacy and security of its users.
