In Telegram instant messaging, a group of pro-Russian hackers is claiming this attack, as Tech&Co has been able to verify, without it being possible for the moment to authenticate these messages. Among the demands mentioned, France’s support for Ukraine, with, in addition, a message linked to the approval of the pension reform by the deputies.
In the visual of the broadcast, which incorporates a bear (one of the symbols of Russia), reference is made to the 504 error, which indicates the impossibility of reaching the servers of a website.
This error is displayed in particular in case of a denial of service attack (known as DDoS). These often unsophisticated attacks consist of overloading a target site with virtual connections to overwhelm its servers and make it inaccessible. In most cases, however, they do not involve data theft, which requires the distribution of malicious software on internal networks.
