No more fuss for iPhone owners. Since March 27, an update to iOS (16.4) improves the use of Apple phones. Among the novelties, some will be content to send the 21 new emojis to their loved ones. Introducing in the summer of 2022, the new small images include a shaking face, a hand gesture, or even maracas.
But the big news is the addition of a “Voice Isolation” mode. This option allows callers to see the audio quality of their calls increase. Once activated, it will highlight the voice of the person arguing while blocking out ambient noise. Thus it is possible to put an end to cacophonous conversations.
Less light effects on the screen.
Another very useful new feature is an accessibility setting to prevent harsh visual effects. The device can now detect flashes or strobes and reduce their impact by automatically dimming the screen.
The iOS 16.4 update also makes it easier to use an iPhone. Notifications can now be issued from web apps added to the home screen. Additionally, the Duplicates album in the Photos app supports detection of duplicate photos or videos within a shared iCloud Photo Library.
Finally, the new version of iOS fixes the crash detection on the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro. This feature, which promises to send an emergency call by itself, has had some hiccups. Some users have complained in particular about activation on roller coasters.
