For the influencer law speaker, the controversy in the forum also had a good side

The deputy Stéphane Vojetta, who takes the text to the National Assembly on Wednesday, believes that the fiasco of the tribune “allowed many influencers to finally reread our text and express themselves.”

What remains of the influencers forum published last Sunday in the JDD? Another hundred signatories over the original 150 but without the main headliners like Squeezie.

However, the fiasco of this text, repudiated by many influencers who had not finally read it, had a certain merit, explains today the deputy Stéphane Vojetta (Renaissance), co-sponsor of a bill on the supervision of the profession.

“In general, their expression is clear: they support the text, they believe that we will settle the excesses and we will allow them to better control the sector,” he says.

“Written contracts, better read them”

“Our text is not against them, to curb freedom of expression and creativity, simply to protect consumers,” he insists. “But it is also to better regulate the activity, which becomes a profession and suddenly also protect influencers who want to do their job well.”

And the deputy is ironic about the controversy last weekend.

The bill arrives this Wednesday at the National Assembly.
