French Days: feedback on the 100% French event?
It was in 2018 that the French Days were born. The event was created by 6 French brands: Boulanger, Cdiscount, Fnac Darty, La Redoute, Rue du Commerce and showroomprive.com. The six founding members of French Days wanted to take on Amazon, the great leader of Black Friday, and offer promotions during fairly quiet periods, without commercial events. The French Days are organized twice a year. A first edition takes place in April/May, then a second in September. Over the years, the number of brands joining the event has increased. Each brand is free to set its offers and therefore can lower prices on a selection of products. Even if the objective of the French Days is to compete with Amazon, the American leader in electronic commerce, it does not hesitate to participate in the event. Amazon therefore presents various special offers on its site, and especially products created by French brands or simply French products. Black Friday and French Days are two separate events. Black Friday takes place only once a year, that is, in November, on the Friday after Thanksgiving. This 100% American event was born several years ago and has been developed all over the world. The French Days are much more recent and take place twice a year. Despite the initiative of the founding members, the French Days are currently much less popular than the American event.
French Days – do business right after the start of the school year!
French Days are the perfect opportunity to pamper yourself during this back-to-school period. In fact, the event takes place before Black Friday, which this year will take place on Friday, November 25. No matter what you want to buy, it’s worth doing your research before French Days to ensure you get the best price. We recommend you make a list of products to buy, so you don’t get lost during the event and thus keep you focused on the products you really need. You can also make a budget, so as not to spend too much money, and allow yourself an additional budget in case of an unforeseen crash. Don’t jump on the first offers posted on your favorite site. Take the time to browse through all the eCommerce sites participating in the event to find the most interesting promotional offer. French Days allow you to pamper yourself and order a new computer, a new TV, change your bedding or simply get ready for winter with new clothes. The French Days take place until Monday, September 26, so don’t wait any longer and quickly discover all the offers available for the occasion!
