No one escapes the pension reform. Not even mobile apps. Data.ia, the new name of App specialist Annie, has published its report on Android and iOS downloads in the first quarter of 2023.
In France, the beginning of the year was strongly marked by the irruption of two applications especially linked to current affairs. Although the first three months of the year were marked by days of mobilization against the pension reform, the application “My retirement account” experienced the greatest growth in downloads. It is published by Union Retraite, a public interest group made up of all the organizations responsible for managing pension plans.
The application allows you to consult your pension rights, indicating for each citizen the number of quarters that you have already acquired during your career. Above all, it indicates whether or not an employee is concerned about the pension reform, referring directly to the Info Retraite site.
My E. Leclerc, another winner
The podium also includes “Mon E. Leclerc”, in third place. The growth of the brand’s app downloads is directly related to receipt removal ads. This application appears as the solution to find the history of your purchases while stores will soon have to offer to stop giving these papers to their customers.
These two apps are also in the top 10 most downloaded apps. “Mon E. Leclerc” occupies the seventh position, with 34 positions gained. “My Retirement Account” is aiming for ninth place (150 places won).
The top-ranking trio of apps remains the same, changing order. WhatsApp recovers its first position, TikTok the second. In third place we find CapCut, TikTok’s sister application, specifically for video editing or photo editing.
This position is not surprising, as the app held the top spot on App Annie’s list at the end of 2022, but recently found itself at the top of the App Store download chart for the month of April.
