Parliament approved on Thursday by final unanimity in the Senate a multi-party bill to better regulate the influencer sector, under fire from criticism in recent months for the abuses of some of them.
The text by the deputies Arthur Delaporte (PS) and Stéphane Vojetta (related to Renaissance) prohibits influencers from promoting certain dangerous products or practices and includes measures to regulate this booming market. It was unanimously adopted by all 342 voting senators, following a final vote on Wednesday in the Assembly, again unanimously.
