Russia claimed to have neutralized nine drones in the Crimean peninsula annexed by the Russian government, according to Moscow-designated local governor Sergei Aksionov.
“During sunrise and morning, nine drones [veículos aéreos não tripulados] were discovered about the territory”Aksionov said on the Telegram platform, adding that no victims were registered.
‘Six planes shot down by anti-aircraft fire’while another three “were deactivated” before landing, he added.
According to Aksionov, one of the drones exploded in the village of Dukuchaevo, in the center of the peninsula, shattering the windows of several houses.
Drone attacks on Russian territory and the Crimea peninsula annexed in 2014 have increased in recent weeks after Kiev announced a counter-offensive.
On the other hand, the Ukrainian Air Force indicated that it shot down a cruise missile and 20 Iranian-made unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) launched by Russia against Ukraine last night.
