At least three people were killed and more than 70 were injured as a tornado swept through the North Texas town of Perryton on Thursday, local officials said.
Between 50 and 70 injured people have been admitted to a hospital in the region, in the southern United States, while the most seriously injured have been taken by helicopter to other hospitals, the television channel ABC News reported.

The tornado passed through an RV park, destroying everything in its path.
About 21 million people, from the states of Colorado (west) to Kansas (midwest), received severe weather warnings on Thursday.
At least three tornadoes were seen in Perryton shortly after 5 p.m. (11 p.m. in Lisbon), according to local television ABC7.
The fire chief told the station that at least 30 caravans were damaged or destroyed.
