The Ukrainian General Staff claims to have destroyed 44 Russian artillery systems in the last 24 hours, a number considered a record by the deputy chairman of the National Security and Defense Committee of the Kiev Parliament.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine established yesterday [quinta-feira] a record in the number of destroyed Russian artillery,” wrote the deputy chairman of the Ukrainian parliamentary commission, Yuri Misiaquin, on social media.
At a time when the Ukrainian counter-offensive is taking place, with attacks on various points on the front, kyiv has intensified in recent weeks the use of artillery, missiles and unmanned aerial devices (‘drones’).
Both Russia and Ukraine refer daily to the high number of casualties and loss of military equipment, on both sides, but there is never any indication of their own casualties.
The information released this Friday by the Ukrainian General Staff has not been confirmed by independent entities.
