A body was found on Saturday in the area where British actor Julian Sands disappeared in January. This is reported by the Associated Press news agency.

The body was found by hikers in a desert near Mount Baldy around 10 a.m., according to the AP. And he was taken to be identified, a procedure that should be carried out in the coming days, according to the statement of the San Bernardino police, responsible for the case.

The 65-year-old British actor was known for appearing in films such as “Bedroom with a City View”, “Mysteries and Passions”, “Arachnophobia”, “Leaving Las Vegas” and “Warlock: The Devil”. He also took part in some episodes of the series “Dexter” and “Smallville”. He is married to the writer Evgenia Citkowitz and has three children.
