One person was killed and three others injured on Friday after being attacked by a man with a knife near a Seoul subway station, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported.
“The man was waving a gun near the exit” of a subway station in the South Korean capital, Yonhap said, adding that the attacker “killed one person and injured three others.”
Police arrested the suspect at the scene, according to the same source.
The incident took place around 2:00 p.m. local time (6:00 a.m. in Lisbon) near the Silim metro station, in the southeast of the South Korean capital.
The injured were taken to hospital, according to the Yonhap news agency.
The motives for the attack are still unknown, according to the same source.
