The Russian Defense Ministry said it had thwarted a Ukrainian attack with 20 drones this morning against targets in the Crimean peninsula.
“The attempted terrorist attack of the Kiev regime with 20 drones against targets on the territory of the Crimean peninsula has been thwarted,” the Defense Ministry said on the Telegram messaging platform.
Fourteen Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense systems and another six by electronic warfare, it added.
The attack caused no casualties or damage, the Defense Ministry said.
