“Last night [terça-feira], air defense shot down a drone in the Mozhaisky district of the Moscow region. The second drone hit a building under construction in the city,” Sergei Sobyanin said on the Telegram messaging platform, adding that, according to initial reports, there were no victims.

Russian territory has been targeted by drone strikes on an almost daily basis. In the early hours of Tuesday, two planes were shot down over the Moscow region, specifically in Krasnogorsk, northwest of the capital, where the windows of a building were destroyed.
Over the summer, planes were shot down over Moscow’s business district, and in May, two drones were shot down near the Kremlin.
