A Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro injured seven people and affected transport infrastructure and a dozen private facilities in various economic sectors, the local Military Administration said on Thursday.
“During the night there were strong explosions in Dnipro. The enemy attacked the city with missiles. One of them was shot down,” the head of the military administration of the Dnipropetrovsk region, of which it is a part, wrote on the Telegram messaging platform. Dnipro. is the capital.
“A bank, a gas station, a hotel, an agricultural company, a furniture manufacturing company and an administrative building” were damaged in the attack, Sergei Lisak added.
Dnipro, in central Ukraine, is one of the country’s major industrial cities and serves as a logistics hub for the Ukrainian armed forces, due to its good connections and relative proximity to the front lines.
