A Russian missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro injured seven people and hit transport infrastructure and a dozen private facilities in various economic sectors, the local military government said on Thursday.
“During the night there were strong explosions in Dnipro. The enemy attacked the city with missiles. One of them was shot.”wrote on the Telegram messaging platform the head of the Military Administration of the Dnipropetrovsk region, of which Dnipro is the capital.
“A bank, a gas station, a hotel, an agricultural company, a furniture production company and an administrative building” were damaged in the attack, Sergei Lisak added.

Dnipro, in central Ukraine, is one of the country’s most important industrial cities and serves as a logistical hub for the Ukrainian armed forces, due to its good connections and relative proximity to the front.
