Ukrainian air defenses shot down 27 of the 30 drones that Russia launched on Monday night against Ukrainian territory, the Ukrainian air force reported on social media on Tuesday.
The drones were launched from Russia and intercepted in different areas of southern, central and western Ukraine, added the air force, which also reported the firing of a ballistic missile from the occupied Crimean peninsula towards Krivi Rig, in the southeast.
According to the Krivi Rig military administration, the missile damaged several residential buildings.
The main target of the attack was Lviv, and 15 of the 18 drones were shot down. According to the Military Administration of the region, three drones reached the target and caused fires in three company warehouses.
One person was injured.
