The Ukrainian leader stressed that Russia is a frequent aggressor, recalled the military interventions in Moldova and Georgia and called on the international community to unite and counter this expansionist ambition.

“The objective of the current war against Ukraine is to transform our land, our people, our lives, our resources into a weapon against you, against the international order based on law,” defended the president, who appeared at the United Nations session United. with his military uniform.

Zelensky also denounced the transfer of tens of thousands of Ukrainian children to territories occupied by forces commanded by Moscow, with the aim of “teaching them to hate Ukraine.”

For the Ukrainian leader, this situation “clearly constitutes genocide”, recalling that the International Criminal Court has a request for the arrest of Russian President Vladimir Putin because of this crime.

“We are trying to bring these children home. But time is running out. What will happen to them? The Ukrainian president announced that his country is preparing a “world summit for peace”, to which he invites all those who reject Russian aggression in Ukraine.

“There have already been important debates and conversations in Hiroshima, Copenhagen and Jeddah on the implementation of a peace plan. And we are preparing a world summit for peace. I invite all of you, all those who do not tolerate any aggression, to prepare jointly this summit,” Zelensky said.
