A 14-year-old student was arrested on Thursday after attacking several teachers and students with a knife at Elena García Armada high school, in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, Spain.
According to the EFE agency, at least five people were injured, including a teacher who suffered an eye injury.
According to El Mundo, three teachers and two students were injured in the knife attack.

It all happened around 8:25 am (7:25 am in Lisbon), during the start of classes at the Instituto Elena García Armada, in the San José Obrero neighborhood.
The young man was arrested on the spot and is being held in the police station.
According to Canal Sur, the minor entered the school building with two knives.

Several parents went to the educational institution after hearing about the attack, but students are still staying inside the school premises due to safety protocol.
The students were taken to the courtyard of the Elena García Armada Institute, which suspended classes on Thursday, El Mundo reports.
