This morning, Russian drones destroyed nine trucks and a granary in a Ukrainian port on the Danube River, in the Izmail district, bordering Romania, in a new attack on Ukrainian agricultural exports, authorities reported this Friday.
“The anti-aircraft alarm lasted three and a half hours in the Odessa region due to the attack of Russian terrorists,” wrote the head of the military administration of the Odesa region, Oleg Kiper, on the Telegram messaging platform.
Ukrainian air defenses shot down three of the “Shahed” kamikaze drones launched by Russia, he said.
Kiper added that the target of the attack was “the port infrastructure in the Izmail district” in the southern region of Odessa.
The attack, he added, damaged a barn, set fire to nine trucks and forced the suspension of the ferry service linking the Izmail district with the Romanian side of the Danube.
