“We strongly condemn this morning’s Russian attacks on civilian targets in kyiv, Khotomir and other Ukrainian cities, and reiterate our full support for Ukraine in its defensive war against Russian aggression,” Gomes Cravinho wrote on Twitter.
The MNE added that it had already contacted “our Chargé d’Affaires”, who assured that “the entire team of the Portuguese Embassy is safe and sound, despite the fact that the missiles fell very close to where they are”.
In addition to the explosions in kyiv, this Monday there was also the third bomb attack in five days against the city of Zaporizhia (south), in which, according to some media, one person died.
Ukrainian media also report several missile explosions in the city of Dnipro, as well as attacks in Zhytomyr, near kyiv, in Khmelnytskyi further east, on the bank of the Bug River from the south, and Ternopil (to the east, in the banks of the river Seret). ).
