The Ukrainian army chief said Russian forces launched at least 75 missiles at Ukraine on Monday, with fatal strikes in the capital kyiv and cities in the south and west.

In kyiv, the circulation of the metro was stopped and the stations of the Ukrainian capital were converted into air-raid shelters.

In the aftermath of the powerful explosions in kyiv, at least eight people were killed and 24 were injured.
This Monday there was also the third bomb attack in five days against the city of Zaporizhia (south), in which, according to some media, one person died.
Ukrainian media also report several missile explosions in the city of Dnipro, as well as attacks in Zhytomyr, near kyiv, in Khmelnytskyi further east, on the bank of the Bug River from the south, and Ternopil (to the east, in the banks of the river Seret). ).
According to the independent kyiv newspaper, citing Governor Vitaliy Kim, a total of ten S-300 missiles have fallen on the city of Myukolaiv, with no casualties reported so far.
The blasts also come a day after Putin accused the Ukrainian secret services of being behind the blast that damaged the Crimean bridge on Saturday, an act the Russian president called “terrorist”.
The last attacks on kyiv had taken place on June 26.
