According to the ministry report, among the 900 dead were 260 children and 230 women, as well as six health professionals and eight journalists.
The bombing completely decimated 22 families, totaling 150 people, and forced 140,000 citizens to flee their homes and stay in overcrowded shelters or hospital yards, the statement added.
The statement highlights that nine medical facilities and 15 ambulances were affected, at a time when the health system is already in a serious situation, with a significant shortage of medicines and equipment and affected by electricity and fuel outages.
“The Ministry of Health calls on the authorities to immediately open a safe corridor for the entry of health aid and medical delegations (in the Gaza Strip) and facilitate the transfer of the wounded and sick who cannot be treated in Gaza,” it says. the statement.
The statement also calls for urgent donations of medicines and medical supplies to all humanitarian organizations.
