The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, made a surprise visit to Brussels this Wednesday and will participate in the meeting of NATO defense ministers at the headquarters of the Atlantic Alliance.
Statements from the Ukrainian head of state are expected shortly after 8:30 local time (7:30 in Lisbon), together with the secretary general of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Jens Stoltenberg.
