Israel is resuming water supplies in the southern Gaza Strip. The objective of the Israeli Government is to ensure that the Palestinian population moves to that region.
“The decision to distribute water in southern Gaza, approved by the Prime Minister, [Benjamin] Netanyahu and the President [norte-americano, Joe] “Biden will push the civilian population to the south of the Strip,” said Israel Katz, Israeli Energy Minister, in a statement cited by AFP.
This decision comes at a time when one million civilians in the Gaza Strip are moving from the north to the south of the region to escape a massive airstrike by Israel.
A week ago, after the Hamas attack, Israel interrupted water supplies to the region, as part of a “total siege” decreed by the country.
