“The enemy uses civilians as fuel for this war,” he charged, guaranteeing that Israel is waging a war “for humanity” and that, if it does not succeed, there will be a “spread of evil.”
“We will win, we will be the victors. We bombed the enemy with air strikes to allow ground forces to enter the field, we are destroying the infrastructure of terror. The battle in Gaza will be difficult, but we are fighting for the existence of our homeland We will fight on land , air and sea and we will emerge victorious,” he stated.
Last night was marked by massive bombings against the tunnels and bunkers of the Islamist group in the northern area of the enclave and the entry of ground troops.
A total of 7,703 people were killed in Gaza and 18,967 injured by the bombings that Israel carried out three weeks ago, on October 7.
The Palestinian Islamist group Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, killing more than 1,400 people. 229 people were also kidnapped and have since remained in the hands of the Islamist group.
After the attack, Israel responded with bombings and ground raids into the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.
