Abanca announced this Monday that it achieved a profit attributed to its shareholders of 428.6 million euros until September of this year, triple that registered in the same period last year.
Income from service provision grew by 3.8% in the first nine months of this year, up to 70.4 million euros, and global turnover amounted to 112,754 million -including Targobank-, which corresponded to a year-on-year increase of 5.8%. the bank said in a statement.
The attributable profit of 428.6 million euros achieved until September triples the 141.4 million euros recorded until September of last year.
In terms of credit to clients, the bank granted 46,067 million euros, 8.2% more than in the same period of the previous year, including Targobank.
The default ratio, for its part, was 2.3%, according to the Spanish bank.
The financial margin was 874.1 million euros, 62.9% more than in the same period last year, while the margin before provisions was 531.6 million.
Provisions and impairments, for their part, decreased until September to 35.1 million euros, 27.4% less year-on-year.
In terms of solvency, the total capital ratio reached 17.3%, that is, more than 1,500 million euros above what is required.
Abanca’s overall profitability was 13% in the first nine months of this year.
