The president of the European Commission considered this Saturday that there was “excellent progress” from Ukraine in Accession process to the European Union (EU) and that this will be included in the report that will be presented next week.
“I have to say that there has been excellent progress, it is impressive to see, and we will attest to this next week when the Commission presents its report on enlargement,” said Ursula von der Leyen, at a joint press conference with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev.
Von der Leyen’s sixth visit to the capital of Ukraine He is accompanied by a group of journalists, including from Deutsche Presse-Agentur (DPA), which acts as a “pool” for the European Newsroom, of which Lusa is a part.
