A baby of Portuguese nationality was taken safely from Gaza, the last of the group of citizens designated by Portugal to leave this territory, an official source from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Lusa this Tuesday.
This minor was allowed to leave, along with her relatives who died on Wednesday in bombings in the southern Gaza Strip, following the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas in this enclave.
Another Portuguese citizen included in the priority group chose to stay in Gaza, the official Portuguese diplomatic source said.
