Biden says freeing first hostages is a “start” and calls for “two-state solution”

The North American President, Joe Biden, reiterated this sixth edition of his calls for a “two-state solution”, in order to “end the cycle of violence in the Middle East” and affirmed that the release of the first two referendums “is barely the beginning”.

“A two-state solution where Israelis and Palestinians can one day live side by side, with the same degree of freedom and equality,” defended the head of state in statements to the press.

Biden also estimated that there are “real possibilities” of prolonging the truce agreed between Israel and the Islamist movement Hamas, which came into effect in the early hours of this Friday, and that the release of the first hostages “is only the beginning, but so far it is going well.”
